This 1911 school house was built in 90 days for $2490. Restored by Dr Sandra Shockley. Used today for meetings & special events. Was local polling spot until recently. Shockley, Sidwell, Prior, Few, & Pritchett were among leading dairy farmers when Apalachee was a leading dairy center in Georgia. Today Apalachee is an equestrian community.
